Your first AdonicBoys photoshoot.

In general we plan the first photoshoot to be very simple. Please no makeup or skin products - many consumer products shoot 'shiny'.

  • Towel especially if a beach location shoot.
  • Water or whatever you prefer to drink to keep yourself hydrated.
  • Government ID for proof of age (Driving License, Passport, State ID).
  • Garments you might like to shoot in, though usually not necessary.
  • Model Release is completed at the first shoot that formally acknowledges you allow yourself to be photographed, and the images or media to be retouched.

What's needed to set up your free account.

  • Legal Name to organize your shoot media on our systems and for regulatory reasons
  • Email is used to create and manage your web based shared folder so you can receive your final pics and vids.
  • Government ID is for proof of age and name required for regulatory purposes (Driving License, Passport, State ID). Just bring to your first shoot.
  • Mobile Phone to make arrangements for your shoot and texts from our automated calendar scheduling systems

How long to receive my pics/vids?

Still digital photographs are usually within a week. Film and video usually with 2-4 weeks. Editorial/Magazine depends on the publication and is usually months.

  • Digital Pics delivery time depends on the level of retouching required as well as the number of images. A strong effort is made to get at least one image into your shared folder within 24 hours of the session. The rest of the images, usually one image per 'look' are generally completed within a week.
  • Film Pics if your shoot included film this process is complex where our lab has to first develop the film then scan the images. Retouch then takes place. The full cycle takes 2-4 weeks to complete and get finals into your shared folder.
  • Video Media takes usually around 3-4 weeks to complete depending on the type and length of the clip to be produced.
  • Editorial/Magazine publication is entirely out of our control and is handled by the editor. As an example, some magazines are only published once or twice a year, and they might schedule publication up to 2 years in advance.

    Adonic Boys File Sharing App

    At AdonicBoys we use the Dropbox app to share files. This is free to download on all platforms (Android, Apple, Windows, iOS etc). Get it from Dropbox.com or in the App/Play store on your device.

  • Shared Folder Invite when the administrative team creates your account you will receive in your Email an invitation to join your shared folder on our systems.
  • Shared Folder this folder is Read Only meaning you can download and copy images and materials from the subfolders but you cannot delete or modify any of the files.
  • Shared Folder Inspo this folder is where you can upload pics and other materials to share with your photographer. This is where you can share your Inspiration images meaning "I hope to shoot something like this".
  • Notifications We consider this to be the weakest issue with Dropbox. Basically you need to keep an eye occasionally on the shared folder.
    You won't get a notification every time a file is added to your shared folder. However, if in your Dropbox Settings you set to receive a notification via email for Activity in shared folders, you will receive it on a weekly basis.
  • Your Deliverables As your pics or vids are released following retouching, they are placed in your Dropbox shared folder.
